Vendela Ahlström, Social Media
Vendela joined Stockholm Writers Festival as a volunteer in 2022. She writes historical fantasy and is currently working on her YA fantasy that is set in Viking Scandinavia. She hosts, The Writing Viking podcast with Lizzie Carlyon.
Catherine Pettersson, Founder
Catherine is the founder of SWF. The drive to start the Festival came from her own frustration as a writer searching for resources in Stockholm. She's the award-winning author of the historical novel, A Daughter of the King and a member of the Stockholm Writers Group.
Lizzie Carlyon, Secretary, House Manager
Since 2023, Lizzie has been making sure things run smoothly at SWF. She is a fantasy author, content writer, and researcher focusing on ethnomusicology. With Vendela Ahlström, she hosts, The Writing Viking podcast.
Paul Rapacioli, Moderator
Paul has been with SWF since year one. He's a member of the board of directors and serves as moderator for our panels. He's author of the book, Good Sweden, Bad Sweden, and founder of The Local, Europe's leading independent English-language news organization.
Lars Nordstrom, Newsletter
Lars has a way with words which you’ll see if you follow our monthly newsletter. He has been on the board since 2020, helping to draw the SWF community of writers closer, and has built online communities for nearly 4 decades.
Carol Snyder, Treasurer
Carol has been on the board of the Stockholm Writers Festival since 2020. She's one of the original members of the Stockholm Writers Group where she has written YA novels, middle-grade, as well as stage plays.
