Patronage
The Stockholm Writers Festival (SWF) is a non-profit organization. We exist to give unpublished writers the tools they need to sustain them on their path to published. Our annual festivals are financed by ticket sales – but in order to grow we are dependent upon contributions from supporters who believe in seeding the written arts with new talent.
Your contribution means that we can give more unpublished writers access to the expertise and networks that they need to get their work seen. We use our supporters’ contributions to invest in:
Bigger annual festivals hosting more participants and a wider range of experts
Educational events throughout the year
Sponsored tickets for unpublished writers from under-served communities

Patron levels
We have four tiers of support: Friend for 500SEK (around $55), Patron for 1,000SEK (around $110), Premium Patron for 5,000SEK (around $550) and Gold Patron of the Festival for 25,000SEK (around $2,700.) Your contribution will have a long-term impact on the written arts, as well as entitling you to some exciting festival benefits: from being featured on our site as a Patron, to free tickets, or the sponsorship rights to a genre prize!

As a non-profit organization (org nr: 802507-9784) the Stockholm Writers Festival relies on active volunteers who share our values of inclusivity, positivity, community and empowerment. If you would like to play a role – either during the festival period or throughout the year – please consider becoming a member of our organization.

Our annual membership fee is 500 Swedish Kronor. Pay through Paypal, local channels (bank transfer) or SWISH. Please don’t forget to put your name in the memo line.
