Stockholm Writers Festival First 5 Pages Prize
The Stockholm Writers Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than by launching the SWF First 5 Pages Prize?
The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of USD$1,000, a full developmental edit donated by Reedsy and a full access ticket to the Stockholm Writers Festival for 2022. Not only that, but they'll also receive a Zoom-based agent one-on-one pitch meeting, as well as two nights in a luxurious boutique hotel located in the heart of Stockholm during SWF22.
We will officially announce the prize on October 1st via our social media channels and will be opening the contest for submissions on October 8th.
There will also be one genre winner in each of the named genre categories - Fantasy & Sci-Fi, Thriller & Detective, Romance, and Fiction. Winners for each genre will get an honorable mention and will receive a full access ticket to the Stockholm Writers Festival for 2022, as well as a Zoom-based meeting with an agent to pitch their book.
